What is MCMTC ( Malaysia Consortium of Mid-Tier Companies)
In short MCMTC’s goal is to transform Malaysian Mid-Tier Companies (MTC) to achieve local and international recognition by creating strategic alliances among members, mobilise expertise and share experiences to promote sustainable growth.
Objectives:
- To promote collaboration and adopt best practices among MTCs.
- To be the platform for MTCs for local and overseas trade, investment and services.
- To assist SMEs with technology and know-how transfer; and to develop a younger generation business group.
In best interest of knowing more about commercial crime, legal implications, victims of cybercrime, cyber security practitioners all come together on 17th January to share their knowledge in MCMTC forum
In this event, our President will share his personal real-life painful experience with a conman. The renowned ACP Lai from Commercial Crime Investigation Department of PDRM will share how to beat Scammers and Sarah Yong, who is currently the Chairperson of the Technology, Cyber & Privacy Laws Committee of the Bar Council will also be sharing her insights. Finally our MCMTC members Dr Simon Chin of Intelligent Pie and Vincent Choy of Fedelis will share with us on how we can all protect ourselves using simple concepts – People, Process and Technology.
