In moving towards a Digital Campus, one key outcome of digital transformation is to create intelligent environments, where tedious and repetitive operations and processes are automated. Intelligent Environment is one of the 4 key pillars in Microsoft’s Education Transformation Framework, where schools and institutions need to optimise and improve quality and efficiency not only in teaching and learning, but also in daily operations, including administration, logistics and IT to increase productivity and reduce cost.
In a Covid and hybrid world, this has become even more paramount. While many have been caught with manual and paper-based inefficiencies during lockdowns and working from home, those with automated business processes integrated with document management are able to forge ahead.
